We are a group of artists that offer instructional classes in the art of painting for all levels of abilities and all ages.
Our classes are relaxed, open and free format. They aren't really classes in the formal educational style that you may have experienced during your school years. Rather, they are run in an open studio format where each person brings their own materials and works on a subject of their choosing. As you work, the instructor will roam around and provide assistance if you require it, or may simply provide advice or suggest a colour combination, or show you a technique that might help.
In any given class there will be people working in different media; oils, water colours, pastels, acrylics and maybe even someone drawing. There will be people doing landscapes, still lifes or portraits and even the occasional abstract painter will show up.
We accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced, everyone works at a pace that suits them. Whether you are just learning or have painted for years, You will find our classes an enjoyable time. If you are like myself, you may find that you never get much painting time in at home, by attending one of these classes you have a scheduled time to paint and an opportunity to get some painting time in.
